Meet the Owners
Bill & Barb Moats

Bill and Barb Moats, owners of Hidden Meadow Farm, draw on Bill's childhood experience of farming right in this same area. They have found their time in the alpaca industry an extremely rewarding venture, and delight in breeding for confirmation and fleece quality. The farm's program is directed toward raising suri alpacas, breeding to bloodlines which carry on the best standards of Suri alpacas.

Bill and Barb have participated in the alpaca industry since 2000.  Bill is currently a semi-retired sports medicine physician, having been very active in the Cleveland Indians' organization.  He was happily raised on an animal farm in his childhood and his love for animals carries through today in the special care he gives his alpacas.

Barb also enjoys these wonderful inquisitive animals.  She grew up as a city girl but truly has come to love the lifestyle of raising these furry creatures plus a miniature donkey and 2 dogs.  Barb maintains deep personal interests in gardening, art and music.
